Forestry and land clearance

Overgrown ground brought back. Scrub clearance, chipping, and orchards and woodland edges opened up again.

Overgrown orchard cleared and chipped, with a bark path laid through the trees

Land that has been left goes one way. Brambles take the ground, scrub takes the light, and what was an orchard becomes impassable in about three seasons.

Clearance work here is done so it stays cleared. The material gets chipped and used on site where it can be, paths get put back through, and what is worth keeping gets kept rather than flattened along with everything else.

Forestry, the usual questions

Do you quote for forestry for free?

Yes. Free visit, free quote, no obligation either way.

How far do you travel?

Roughly 20 miles from Winscombe, which covers Winscombe, Sandford, Banwell, Churchill, Axbridge and the villages between them, out as far as Clevedon. If you are near the edge of that, ask anyway, it is usually a yes for a job of a decent size.

Is it you doing the work, or a team?

It is Tom Nyamunda. One person on the job from the first visit to the last barrow out, which is slower than a gang but it means the person who quoted it is the person who built it.
