What Tom does

Seven services that overlap far more than they look like they should. A garden rebuild pulls in groundwork, walling, paving and often a run of new pipe, and one person carrying all of it means no job stops waiting for the next trade to turn up.

Landscaping

Whole gardens designed and built, from clearance and levelling through to planting, turfing and clipped hedging.

Patios

Indian sandstone, slate and reclaimed stone laid on a proper base, with the falls set so water leaves the house.

Retaining walls

Railway sleeper and dry stone retaining walls that hold a slope properly, with steps built into them.

House maintenance

The list of jobs a property builds up. Fencing, gates, roofs on outbuildings, sheds, repairs and the odd thing nobody else will take on.

Plumbing

Water mains renewed, stopcocks replaced, outside taps fitted and rainwater harvesting set up.

Forestry

Overgrown ground brought back. Scrub clearance, chipping, and orchards and woodland edges opened up again.
