Privacy notice
This explains what Tom Nyamunda does with your information when you contact him through this website. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

As a sole trader whose only use of personal information is replying to enquiries, quoting, and keeping his own accounts and records, Tom Nyamunda has assessed himself as exempt from the ICO data protection fee. That assessment is reviewed if what this site does with information ever changes.
What is collected, and why
Only what is needed to reply to you and price the job. Nothing is collected because it might be useful one day.

What is never collected
There are no accounts on this site and no login. Nothing asks for a date of birth, a payment detail, or anything about your health, beliefs or background. Your IP address is used for a moment to rate limit the form and is never written down anywhere.
Where it goes
There is no database of customers. Your enquiry becomes an email in Tom Nyamunda’s inbox and nothing else. Two companies are involved in it getting there.
- Cloudflare hosts this website, runs the spam check on the form and counts page views. Cloudflare, Inc. and Cloudflare Ltd.
- Resend delivers the enquiry email. Plusdot, Inc., trading as Resend.
Both operate outside the UK, so your information is transferred internationally. Those transfers rely on the safeguards in Article 46 of the UK GDPR, being the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the standard contractual clauses, as set out in each company’s own data processing terms.
Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone else. Your details are not added to a mailing list and you will not be marketed to.
Measurement
Three things are counted, and only three: when somebody taps a phone, WhatsApp or email link, when somebody starts filling in the quote form, and when an enquiry is successfully sent.
Those counts are stored with the page they happened on, the type of device, and a town and country worked out at the network edge. They are not stored with your name, your email, your phone number, your IP address or any identifier for your device, so a count cannot be traced back to you, and two visits by the same person cannot be joined together.
This is done under the statistical purposes exception in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. You have the right to object to it. Email Tom Nyamunda at tomnyamunda@yahoo.co.uk and it will be switched off for you.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own, stores nothing in your browser and does not track you between visits. That is why there is no cookie banner in your way.
The one exception is the spam check on the quote form, which is Cloudflare Turnstile. It may place a short lived cookie on your device while it works out that you are a person. That is strictly necessary to provide the form you asked for, which is why it does not need your consent, and it is not used to track you or to advertise to you.

Photographs of finished work
Every photograph on this site is of work Tom Nyamunda carried out. Photographs are only published where the property owner has agreed to it, they are framed to avoid house numbers, vehicle registrations and anything else that identifies an address, and nobody is named. If a photograph of your property is here and you want it taken down, ask and it comes down. No reason needed.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask Tom Nyamunda to:
- tell you what he holds about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it
- stop using it, or restrict what he does with it
- hand it to you in a portable form
- stop relying on legitimate interests, where that is the basis being used

Complaining
If you are not happy with how your information has been handled, please say so first, it is a one person business and it will get dealt with. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at any time.
